SEATTLE – October 10, 2007 – More than 5,000 affiliates, bloggers and publishers looking to earn more money from their Web sites have signed up for WidgetBucks, the new shopping advertising network that launched Oct. 2. Also during the first seven days, more than 25 million ad impressions were registered.
Responding to member input, WidgetBucks (http://widgetbucks.com) has now started displaying real-time reporting of revenue and revenue-per-click (RPC), as well as expanded its referral program to give affiliates the ability to earn a 10 percent referral fee. WidgetBucks also enabled a viral component that gives publishers and consumers the ability to quickly integrate an ad widget into popular blog platforms, such as TypePad and Blogger.
"Over 5,000 registrations in our first week definitely exceed expectations," said Matt Hulett, president and CEO of Mpire Corporation, which produces WidgetBucks. "We are very enthused about all of the interest in WidgetBucks and we’ve been very appreciative of all of the fantastic feedback that we’ve been getting from our publishers."
